Did you know that Mr Athayde is available after school for musical help on Mondays and Wednesdays? Just let him know you're interested, and come by after school!

HELP! The jazz program is looking for someone to transfer some old and unique jazz records to CD. Can you help? Please see Mr Athayde if you can offer some assistance, or call 927-3540. THANK YOU!

Registration

Please be sure to fill out an orange Jazz Band Registration form, available in the music office or in the bottom of your musician’s backpack after the first week of rehearsals (Ask them first.) This is our way of keeping track of who’s who. These are to be returned to the envelope posted on the wall by the music office, or given to Mrs. Reynolds or Lori Franzke.

Schedule

Jazz Crusaders-everyone plays! : Mondays and Fridays, 7:25am. Mr Davidson directs on Mondays, Mr Athayde on Fridays.

The Thundering Herd: Mondays, Tuesdays and Thurs 7:25am. Mr Davidson on Thursdays, and Mr Athayde on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Jazz Messengers: Tues, Wed, Thurs and Fri 7:25am. Mr Davidson on Tuesdays and Fridays, Mr Athayde on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

THERE WILL BE NO REHEARSALS ON DAYS FOLLOWING A LONG WEEKEND OR VACATION (ie Nov 12, Dec 1, Jan 5, Feb 11, April 6, May 26)

Concert Dress

Girls: Black long (knee or below) skirt, white shirt
Boys: Back dress pants, white shirt, tie and black suspenders
You may purchase suspenders for $10 through Mrs Reynolds in the music office.
