Learn more about Miss Klier and Chorus
Miss Rachael Klier is happy to teach chorus at Stanley Middle School. Miss Klier also teaches choral and general music to students in grades K-5 at Happy Valley Elementary.
Before returning to her hometown in the East Bay Area, Miss Klier taught choral, general, and instrumental music for three years at a private school in San Jose, CA. She loved teaching music so much that she relocated to be able to pursue graduate studies in music education.
Miss Klier earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Music (vocal emphasis) from Bethany College in Scotts Valley, CA. She earned her California Teaching Credential in Music at CSU East Bay. She recently completed her Masters of Music (with an emphasis in Music Technology in the Classroom) from Sacramento State University. She is also an active member of CMEA (California Music Educators Association) and ACDA (American Choral Directors Association).
Whether it's in a classroom, with friends, with her family around the campfire, with church choir, or by herself, Miss Klier loves to sing and make music! She is passionate about music education and enthusiastic about all students' potential to make beautiful music.
When she's not teaching, you may find her training to run the next marathon race, traveling to other countries on missions trips with her church group, enjoying the beach, or spending time with friends and family (especially the newest edition to her family, baby Joy, her first and only niece).
P.S. If you're wondering if she's related to a long time math teacher retired from Acalanes...he's her uncle!
